Three inspirations, one feeling
The name ELÉNE brings together three French words, and one feeling.
Élan: grace in motion, a confident energy, a spirit all its own. It is the feminine feeling we want every woman to have when she wears our pieces.
Lène: our nod to linen. Soft, light and breathable, natural and quietly refined, timeless rather than of the moment. It carries our idea of natural elegance.
Éclat: radiance without excess, the glow that catches the eye without effort. It is the sound we chose for ELÉNE, and the sparkle in our logo.
Modest, by design
Every piece is cut for coverage first: longer lengths, full sleeves and room to move. Modesty is the starting point of the design, not an adjustment made afterwards.
Made in Cairo, in small numbers
We make each piece in Cairo, in small runs. If your size sells out, join the waitlist and we will tell you when it is back. A few pieces are limited editions; those we do not remake, and we say so on the piece.
